Antimicrobial resistance in general, and antibiotic resistance in
particular, have emerged as the largest public health threat of modern
times. If left unchecked, drug resistance will result in millions of
deaths globally and drastic reductions in the global GDP. Public
awareness and education on resistance is therefore critical to
stemming the tide of this public health threat.
We look forward to your attendance.
